The photographer behind it
I'm Ela Rüther, a professional food photographer with over 15 years of experience and my own studio in Cologne, shooting food, drinks and still life for magazines, publishers and advertising clients.
Surreal Tableau
As an AI artist I also create playful images that photography couldn't easily produce: hair made of noodles, clothing grown from cabbage, flying cocktails, or the MOM! series. The style is clear, minimalist, colourful and a little surreal — always conceptual, always in series. And almost all of these images work as both still and moving image.
